About This Site
My name is Brian Hall. I am a 24 year old graduate of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. I now work for the Indiana Rail Road. I have had a fascination with trains for as long as I can remember. Apparently I get this from my father as he likes trains too. My interest in the NYC's Indiana Division through Lafayette started when I began rail fanning the Kankakee, Beaverville & Southern (KBS). The KBS uses the former Indiana Division from Lafayette west to Kankakee. I started looking into the history of this line and found there wasn't much information available on the Internet. Thus the idea for this web site was born.
This web site attempts to track the history of the New York Central's Indiana Division from Indianapolis, IN to Kankakee, IL. I picked these two cities as this is the area I intend to model in HO scale. The site heavily uses Cascading Style Sheets. In fact, there are no HTML tables used in this design. The HTML was written in a text editor (specifically EditPlus), images were edited with Jasc PaintShop Pro 8 and documents and images were scanned using a HP Scanjet 4570c.
